Initial logo ideas

I started off with this existing typeface, bold as I think for an exhibition based on this subject it should represent the busy, fun, loud music style. This is just a first experiement however, I do tend to stick with similar typeface and so want to experiment more.

 I've tried to emphasise the word ska within the title and tried various ways of representing this.

 I think with what I have done it is starting to look too much like the designs I have done for my fashion brand so need to take it in a different direction.

 Definitely too similar to my fashion brand here, need to move it on and experiment with other typefaces and other ways to emphasise the work ska.
